Philosophy
To shape creative intercultural relations
means to constantly explore ones own cultural values and
patterns, and simultaneously to discover the multiple universes and perspectives
offered by other cultures. The dance of these two undertakings stimulates
a new source of creativity, and encourages crossing the obsolete boundaries
of misunderstanding and false interpretation.
Never, in human history, have relations between cultures been as abundant
as today. Let us consider ourselves as modern-day traveling performers,
and discover the creative potential of interacting and working with cultures
other than our own be they other national cultures, linguistic
cultures, professional cultures, corporate cultures, or departmental cultures.
As with any artistic performers, let us allow ourselves to be drawn by
curiosity, spontaneity and improvisation, as a path for innovative and
creative solutions when working with others.
Performing as an intercultural trainer, Ctrl
Culture Relations encourages self-discovery and fosters the expansion
of knowledge of other patterns of beliefs. This is accomplished not only
by providing the necessary cultural information and strengthening the
existing intercultural skills, but also by building mutual trust and creating
an atmosphere of understanding and teambuilding. This, in turn, brings
about the ease of interaction that leads to success in intercultural professional
contexts.
Performing as an process consultant, Ctrl
Culture Relations listens, observes, facilitates and interprets to bring
processes, strengths, strategies and their cultural influences to light.
By continually broadening perspectives and deepening visions, organizations
transform their initial uncertainly into awesome missions, productive
strategic plans, and organizational cultures inspired by and supportive
of the new vision.
